The Sierra Surgery Center is a 15-bed, specialty department of the regional medical center. In an effort to reduce healthcare acquired infections, our team performed retro commissioning and resequencing of the control system. The pressure relationship between patient rooms is crucial, and the surgery center’s critical environment can now be maintained with this new controls system.
Nevada Urology is the most comprehensive urology practice in Northern Nevada with a new, state-of-the-art patient care facility. During the first phase of this multi-phase project, the BCS team installed an Alerton control system for the 14 rooftop units. Eventually, future buildings will tie into the system.
Located in Sparks, the Northern Nevada Medical Center is a severe care hospital offering medical care to Sparks, Reno, and the surrounding areas of Nevada and California. The BCS team installed the operating room’s pressure, temperature, and humidification control systems to assist in infection prevention and control.
